The Spektrum™ Focal® DVR FPV headset combines the video quality of a premium Fat Shark headset with Digital Video Recording capability so that users can capture the experience without the extra weight of an additional device on the aircraft or vehicle. Whether you're running an HD or conventional FPV camera, selectable aspect ratios offers you the best view of both worlds with crisp optics you can adjust for a perfect fit. No additional modules are required, which takes the guesswork out of getting a headset that has the kind of exceptional performance anyone from beginner to expert can appreciate.
The Freedom of Digital Video Recording
Integrated Digital Video Recording (DVR) capability allows you to capture your unique FPV experience through the flight camera already installed on your FPV vehicle or aircraft. The video is conveniently stored through the micro-SD card slot in either a PAT or NTSC format. A power backup make it's safe to write video files even if the headset losses power while recording.
Outstanding Image Quality
Focal users will enjoy crisp, clear 640x480 optics than can be viewed in either a standard 4:3 to a wide 16:9 aspect ratio. So whether you want to connect to an HD system or conventional FPV camera, the Focal DVR not only works, it offers outstanding image quality from both worlds.
HDMI Input Versatility
The Focal DVR FPV headset can be used for more than just the onboard FPV experience. A built-in Mini HDMI input port makes it possible to use this headset while enjoying other video and HD digital systems like TV programs, home computing and online gaming.
Channel Adjustment on the Fly
The 5.8GHz video receiver with integrated LED Screen makes finding your channel effortless while adding the ability to scan the band for the best channel to use and change camera channels on the fly.
Wireless Head Tracking Link
A built-in module allows the Focal DVR headset to communicate with any Spektrum transmitter that has Wireless Trainer Link technology (up-to-date Spektrum AirWareâ„¢ firmware required) so you can enjoy a more immersive experience without the cord.
Built for Comfort
Beyond its attractive design, the headset uses a foam-padded mask for a more comfortable fit. The distance between the optic screens - also known as the Inter-Pupillary Distance - can be adjusted to match the spacing of a user's eyes. A built-in cooling fan adds to the comfort during long periods of use and helps prevent the optics from fogging up.
Smart Battery
The included smart LiPo battery can be charged through the traditional barrel jack or via a micro USB cable. No balance lead is required. That means you can charge on the go using a mobile USB power bank, your home computer or even a laptop. The LED meter on the side indicates how much capacity is left in the pack while the integrated output cables can power the Fat Shark headset and faceplate fan.
